Q:        What is the difference between the small, medium, and large cabins?

A:         The cabins all have a single queen bed in its own bedroom, a full-size futon in the living area, and a sleeping loft (think low ceiling) with 1 queen (medium cabins) or 2 queens (large cabin). The small cabins sleep 2 adults comfortably, but can accommodate up to 4 (in 2 beds). The medium cabins can sleep 4 adults comfortably, but can accommodate up to 6 (in 3 beds). The large cabin can sleep 4 adults comfortably, but can accommodate up to 8 (in 4 beds).

 

Q:        Do the cabins have sheets, towels, etc?

A:         Yep! We ARE rustic-looking and nestled in the woods, but our accommodations offer all the modern essentials you'll need for a comfortable stay with us!

 

Q:        How far are the cabins from the river?

A:         We have 7 cabins on the property—all the cabins are about 20-40 paces walking from the river's edge.

 

Q:        What amenities do you have on the property?

A:         We have three outdoor fire pits with seating, an outdoor hot tub, a large grass field with a volleyball net, playground, room for horseshoes, and a pergola near the river. Additionally, we have a small gift shop, self-service guest laundry, vending, and ice machines.

 

Q:        What amenities do you have in the rooms?

A:         Each room has a mini-fridge, a microwave, coffee-maker, iron/ironing board, free Wi-Fi, and DirecTV.

 

Q:        What amenities do you have in the cabins?

A:         Each cabin has a fridge, microwave, coffee-maker, toaster, a table and chairs for meals, dishes (both for eating on and cooking in), a porch with a charcoal grill, an iron/ironing board, free Wi-Fi, and DirecTV.

 

Q:        Do you allow pets?

A:         We do! Our cabins are pet-friendly and require a nightly pet-fee. We even have a place to walk your dogs! Unfortunately, due to allergies and liability, we cannot accept pets in our main lodge rooms or homes.

 

Q:        Do you accept discounts?

A:         We proudly honor our military, AAA,  AARP  and per-diem Gov rates. Blackout periods apply for special events and holidays.

 

Q:        Why do I need a credit card?

A:         We require a valid credit card at time of booking to guarantee the reservation and we keep it on file for incidentals.

 

Q:        Is my reservation guaranteed?

A:         Contact information, including a telephone number and a valid credit card number are required to guarantee your reservation at the time of booking. In the event of unforeseen room unavailability (maintenance, etc.), every effort will be made to relocate your accommodation (including other area motels, as necessary). We will attempt to contact you prior to your arrival using the information we have on file.

 

Q:        Can I pay cash?

A:         Yes, you can! Although every reservation requires a valid credit card, you are welcomed to pay cash when you arrive and check-in.

 

Q:        What if I need to cancel my reservation?

A:         To avoid any penalty, we ask that you cancel 48 hours prior to your arrival date. Otherwise, we reserve the right to charge you the initial night’s stay. Large groups (reunions, weddings, etc.) require at least 7-14 days advance notice to avoid cancellation penalty.

 

Q:        What time can I check in?

A:         Check-in time is any time after 2pm, Mountain Standard Time. We do ask that if you plan to check-in later than 10 pm, please call ahead to make arrangements.

 

Q:        How late can I check in?

A:         Our office closes at 10pm, but we have live-in management that will accommodate you 24/7.  We ask that if you plan to check-in later than 10 pm, please call ahead to make arrangements.

 

Q:        What time is check-out?

A:         Check-out is at 11am. Late check-out is available for a fee up to 1pm.

 

Q:        Can I fish on the property?

A:         Yes! We are right on the banks of the Chama River—adults need a New Mexico game and fish license, children under 12 can fish for free under the license of an adult. We have river access along the East edge of our property.

 

Q:        Will I receive a reservation confirmation?

A:         Yes, please look for it! Our confirmation email serves as proof of your reservation. It contains your check-in/check-out dates, number of people in your party, and the type of accommodation you are reserving. If ANY of this information is incorrect, or you do not receive your confirmation email within 24 hours of making your reservation, please call and let us know of any discrepancies immediately so we can make any necessary changes.

 

Q:        Where are you located?

A:         We are about 3 hours North of Albuquerque, on US Highway 84. We are just south of the actual town of Chama, New Mexico.
